Our argan oil cold pressed comes from the traditional source, the Argan forest in southern Morocco. The argan trees can withstand higher temperatures and help slow desertification.   • How is Moroccan argan oil made?

    Moroccan argan oil is made from the kernels of the Argan tree, which is native to Morocco. which is why the best and original argan oils should only originate from Morocco.

    The argan fruit is harvested from the trees by hand during the summer months. Once collected the kernels are separated from the fruit again most of this is done by hand following traditional methods. The kernels are then roasted to intensify their fragrance and soften them which makes oil extraction easier as they are then ground into a thick paste. The pressing of the paste squeezes out the oil which is then filtered to ensure the purity of the product before being packed into a glass dispenser.

    If your hair is naturally oily, you should try to avoid getting the oil on your scalp. 

    Once applied comb through your hair to distribute the oil evenly. Aim to leave the oil in your hair for an hour or two or overnight for deep conditioning before rinsing thoroughly with shampoo and
    conditioner.

    It is always best, to begin with clean, dry skin and then apply a small amount of argan oil to your fingertips, then using gentle, circular motions, massage the oil into your face and neck.
